WHEN VISITORS MAKE THEIR INDIVIDUAL TREE PRINTS

IDENTITY, HANDCRAFTED.

On last Wednesday, around 80 Marc O’Polo franchise partners visited our company. The day before they had a meeting at Lake Constance, quite near to us. That’s why they decided to spend the next day with us. For more than 13 years we have been working for and with Marc O’Polo. High time to know each other!

After the welcome, we splitted the visitors in four groups and started the plant visited. Jürgen Zahn, Klaus Hummel, Thomas Betz and Julia Kohler guided the groups on our premises. At the first station, the guests where invited to work with the motor saw. Our colleagues Stefan Thoma and Hannes Schmidschneider instructed them how to use the saw. Each participant was asked to saw a disc from the tree. Some of them even wanted to work on a wooden heart.

The next step was to make a print of the tree disc. They coloured especially prepared discs in black, covered them with a sheet of paper and carefully wiped them with a brush. Markus Rönsch and Marcel Alber helped them with their individual tree prints.  At the third and final station, the prints where framed with the assistance of Carina Rimmele.

After a delicious lunch – prepared by our cook Hans Furgoll and his team – the visitors returned back home. A great day that we will keep in our mind.
